We want to help you enjoy the summer or winter vacation of your dreams. Here, we’ve compiled a list of questions we’re frequently asked. This way, you can get all the information you need in advance.
Can I combine multiple promotions and offers?
No, you can only redeem one promotion or offer at a time. Of course, we’ll charge you for the cheaper option!
Does it matter when I arrive and depart?
No, but we ask that you let us know if you’ll be arriving after 7:00 p.m. Your Wohlfühl-Heim apartment is generally available to you starting at 3:00 p.m. To ensure everything runs smoothly, please vacate the apartment by 10:00 a.m. on your departure day.
What if I can’t take the trip and have to cancel?
Room cancellations are only valid in writing.
Up to 3 months before the start of your stay, you will not incur any cancellation fees.
From 3 months to 1 month before the start of your vacation, we will charge 40%; from 1 month to 1 week before the start of your vacation, we will charge 70%; and during the last week before the start of your vacation, 100%.
In the event of early departure, we will charge 100% of the booked stay. Place of jurisdiction: Zell am Ziller.
Do I have to provide my own breakfast bread?
No, we’re happy to take care of that for you. Just let us know, and we’ll arrange for fresh bread from DORFBÄCK!
Alternatively, can I book breakfast as an add-on?
Yes, you can book a buffet with everything your heart desires as an extra. Feel free to ask us about it!
Are the milk and eggs locally sourced?
Yes, the eggs are from free-range chickens - and the milk is delivered fresh daily from a mountain farm upon request.
Is it possible to book dinner as well?
Yes, we’d be happy to book a 4-course menu of your choice for you, including a salad bar, cheese bar, dessert bar, and much more.
Can I also book half-board directly?
Yes, you’re welcome to book half-board as well. Thanks to our partner business right on our doorstep, we’re happy to make that happen for you!
Is it possible to purchase drinks on-site?
Yes, we have a vending machine stocked with various varieties from the local Zillertal Bier brewery, as well as non-alcoholic refreshments!
Are there any dining recommendations nearby?
Yes, our Kreuzwiesenalmhütte offers a wonderful mountain hut breakfast, sweet and savory regional dishes, and all kinds of specialties! It’s accessible via runs 16 and 17 in the Zillertal Arena. 20% discount on food for Ferien-Heim guests!
Is there an elevator in the building?
Yes, of course - we have a passenger elevator that can accommodate 8 people!
Do we have access to a garden during our summer vacation?
Yes, you can enjoy the sun on our south- and west-facing sides - all the way until sunset in our garden or on the terrace.
Is there a place to play table tennis?
Yes, we’d be happy to provide you with a ping-pong table and paddles - just let us know!
I forgot my book - are there any books to read at the vacation home?
Yes, you’ll find a large selection in the bookcase in the children’s playroom!
Are there towels in the apartments?
Yes, of course! Hand towels, shower towels, pool towels, and sauna towels are readily available for our guests!
Is there Wi-Fi in the apartments?
Yes, we provide our guests with free internet access in all living rooms via cable and Wi-Fi throughout the building.
Are there TVs in the apartments?
Yes, the apartments are equipped with modern LED TVs (some 47 inches) offering a wide selection of TV channels - you can also listen to radio stations via the TV.
Do the apartments have children’s amenities?
Yes, we have cribs, high chairs, children’s tableware, a kids’ playroom, strollers, toboggans, bobsleds, and sleds! What more could you ask for? Please let us know if there’s anything you need!
Are there things for kids to do in the Zillertal?
Yes, of course. The Zillertal Arena is one big playground for kids. There are also some great places to visit in the area, many of which (such as the Raritätenzoo) will be a hit with the little ones!
Is the Ferien-Heim the right choice for our family?
Yes, absolutely. We, the region, and our cozy apartments will do our best to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
But it’s not just for families - you’ll also feel right at home here with friends or your partner. Our cozy apartments and the Zillertal Arena offer a wonderful setting for a getaway from everyday life as a couple and some quality time together.
Does every apartment have its own sauna?
No, only our new Wellness Apartment features a private wellness area with a shower, sink, balcony with fresh air, relaxation area with a rocking lounger, bio-sauna, and a direct view of nature.
Can other guests not use the wellness facilities?
Yes, all our guests can take advantage of the wellness facilities. Specifically, the spacious spa and wellness center at our partner hotel, the Wellnesshotel Sonnenhof, which is located just 50 meters away. In addition to a steam bath and a brine steam bath, you’ll find an outdoor log sauna, two relaxation rooms, and an organic Swiss stone pine sauna. Here, you can unwind after action-packed days in the Zillertal and recharge your batteries. Our tip for you: Wait until the Sonnenhof guests head to dinner - then the wellness area is even quieter than usual, and relaxation reaches its peak!
Is there anywhere I can rent bikes?
Yes, you can rent top-quality bikes at Intersport Strasser at the Zillertal Arena valley station!
Are pets allowed in the apartments or in the double rooms?
No, we do not allow pets in either the double rooms or the apartments. Thank you for your understanding!
