And should you not fancy or not be up to all the climbing - a detour with the mountain railway can also be made. You will always be able to come down. The other way around as well, by the way. No need to shout it from the rooftops.
Now it’s even easier to conquer those vertical meters: e-mountain bikes. If you prefer something more leisurely during your vacation, you can use e-mountain bikes for bike tours in the Zillertal. A bike rental is located right at the valley station in Zell am Ziller – a relaxed, enjoyable bike ride instead of tiresome, uphill pedaling. Tip: there is a charging station for e-bikes at the Kreuzwiesenalm. You also don’t have to miss out on a magnificent panoramic tour to the Kreuzwiesenalm hut.
