Hintertuxer Glacier

Almost no other place on earth can offer such diversity as Austria’s only summer ski region, the Hintertuxer Glacier. Starting with summer skiing on 22 km of sun drenched pistes, snowboarders will delight in the Halfpipe, Funboxes, Table-Tops and Rails at the Betterpark.
The choice of activities goes on, with a myriad of mountain bike and hiking trails, glacier tours and the Gletscherflohpark for younger guests – there really is something for everyone. Experience the natural ice palace with his mysterious ice formations, glistening ice crystals in a mythical environment. Or you just chilling out and catching some rays.

Right of way for families with children. The piste of your dreams for the whole family: the family friendly Ziller valley ski area offers perfectly prepared ski runs, 8 cable cards and lifts in total and two moving carpets for the first steps in the snow.
Here, winter-sport fans, engaging in various disciplines, will find their favourite ski-run. Perfect deep snow hillside delight the experienced ones as well. Snow guarantee applies also to the slopes within the valley. This can be realised due to a modern snow cannon that provides snow for all the downhill runs. Here is where the snow fans will also find the longest snow-covered downhill run within the Ziller valley (7 km).
Ski-Optimal Hochfügen-Hochzillertal
The extraordinary altitude of 1500 - 2500 m ensures the long winter season. The village of Kaltenbach is located in the valley, you will get to Hochfügen by taking the well-constructed scenic road. A vast ski area, surrounded by lovely alpine mountains can be found in the high valley.
Skiing by night is offered every Thursday between 20.00h/8 pm and 22.00h/10 pm, the illuminated toboggan run is open daily until 24.00h/midnight. Cross-country ski tracks at high altitudes, free ski buses, restaurants, ranging from really cosy Tyrolean restaurants to 3-toque restaurants, bars, après ski bars. Three- and four-star hotels, guesthouses, apartments.
Mayrhofner Bergbahnen
Winter life in Mayrhofen is good, offering many highlights around the pleasure mountain Ahorn and the action mountain Penken, varying from romantic igloo nights at an altitude of 2000 meters to the ultimate party event snow bombing with the best DJs and endless parties. In addition 159 meters of ski runs with guaranteed snow, the legendary Harakiri downhill run, besides ample classic Tyrolean mountain romanticism, numerous alterations and innovations for a successful winter holiday.

Tux und Finkenberg are one floor up – covered in the glistening white snow within ski and glacier world Zillertal 3000. Snow guarantee and nature covered in snow are only natural, considering the altitude of 3250 meters above sea level.
199 kilometers of ski runs in for ski area are available: Eggalm, Rastkogel, Penken and the Hintertux glacier - Austria's most attractive and only year-round ski area with powder snow guarantee from October until May.
